Introduction

Today we took the Castaway Girl Snorkel Tour from St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. Following on from that I thought through how they could market themselves as a transformative experience and this is what I came up with.

The Experience

The two site snorkel adventure began for us at the dock by our cruise ship. Just 3 minutes walk from the disembarkation point.

We were greeted by three overly enthusiastic crew who welcomed us aboard the ship with ice cold water and a friendly smile.

After a quick and quirky safety brief we were on our way out of the harbour with 70s to 90s hits blaring through the speakers.

We headed out to the iconic shipwreck site, a testament to maritime history dating back to the 1940s.

We dove into crystal clear turquoise waters to explore the sunken remains, where marine life thrives. Once in the water our crew member brought up a star fish to show us and talked us through the colourful history of the wrecks on the sea floor below us.

When we rejoined the crew on board, rum punch, iced water and soft drinks awaited us.

The journey continued to Turtle Cove, a serene haven where we dived off the catamaran into the warm blue waters to encounter sea turtles in their natural habitat. This well curated dual experience offers guests both an adrenaline rush and a peaceful connection with nature.
